Welcome
Hi everyone, my name is Danielle. I will be blogging about Little Sisters of the Poor , the Jeanne Jungan Residence. For those of you who do not know what this is it is a home for the elderly. The Jeanne Jungan residence has both an independent living facility and an assisted living facility. The Little Sisters of the poor is run by nuns. They follow the practices of the Roman Catholic Church. I was interested in this place as my field site because my grandmother has moved in recently. I am wondering if the residents are genuinely happy. I am also curious about the relationship between the nuns and the residents. Enjoy.

I think it's neat that you want to learn more about the relationship between the nuns and residents. I feel like you'll be able to make some cool discoveries about those relationships as you continue your study
